Interested in getting involved in your community? The Boyle Heights Neighborhood Council has a number of seats available for candidacy for its upcoming April election.
DEADLINE TO FILE FOR CANDIDACY WEDNESDAY, MARCH 19
Four board seats, 14 community seats and one community interest seat are up for grabs. Each seat holds a two-year term. The election is open to all residents of Boyle Heights regardless of their citizenship status. For more information on the application, visit Empower LA.
Election day is April 26, and polling will take place at the Benjamin Franklin Branch Library

The BHNC will hold a town hall meeting and call for candidates this Saturday, March 8th at 1pm at the Boyle Heights Civic Center.
The council is a direct link to the Los Angeles City Council. Its purpose is to promote a more vibrant community by connecting the BHNC, city government, and other neighborhoods. The BHNC represents the interests of Boyle Heights businesses and individuals who live, work and do business in the community.
