With the March primary less than two months away, candidates for Los Angeles City Council’s District 14 are kicking off their campaigns and beginning to hit the streets for support.
In anticipation of the March 3 vote, Boyle Heights Beat will host a candidates forum on Saturday, Feb. 7 to provide an opportunity for community members to hear from their potential leaders on issues that matter to them most. This will be the first time candidates in this contest join for a community forum.>
Just one week after the termed-out LA County Supervisor Gloria Molina started her kick-off precinct walking campaign, incumbent Councilman Jose Huizar kicked off his re-election campaign on Saturday in El Sereno.
